Strategy & Operations Manager

About the role

ARQ is a fast‑growing fintech looking for a strategic thinker who can move quickly, own high‑impact business challenges and work directly with founders and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own strategic and operational initiatives end‑to‑end, from problem definition and business case building to execution and results measurement.
• Identify growth opportunities, improve unit economics and scale operations using AI and automation where it adds value.
• Translate complex data, customer insights and market research into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Build and scale processes, tools and workflows that increase speed and efficiency across product, engineering, finance and compliance.
• Define and track success metrics, spot early issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead partnerships with external providers such as banks and processors when relevant.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a demanding environment such as MBB, a high‑growth startup or a large‑scale business.
• Strong analytical ability to structure ambiguous problems, work confidently with data and link analysis to business decisions.
• Proven track record of delivering outcomes from recommendation through implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to simplify complexity for both frontline teams and executives.
• Bias to action, comfort with ambiguity and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
