Risk and Compliance Analyst (Intake Analyst)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our Buenos Aires Service Center. In this role you will investigate, assess and report on compliance, reputational and financial‑crime risks for new client onboarding and existing matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments to support onboarding of new clients and matters.
• Research using databases and public sources to identify potential compliance, reputational and financial‑crime risks.
• Analyze findings, escalate high‑risk matters and communicate results clearly.
• Apply established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements to support compliance processes.
• Review and validate information for accuracy, completeness and adherence to firm standards.
• Collaborate with regional colleagues and stakeholders to facilitate effective decision‑making.
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree or current studies in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Previous experience or knowledge of AML, Compliance, KYC, Risk Management or Client Onboarding.
• Advanced English skills (mandatory) and strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, discretion with sensitive information and effective communication skills.
• Proactive mindset, strong organization and ability to manage priorities in a global, collaborative environment.
