Tax Analyst Staff – German Tax Returns

About the role

As a member of the core‑tax mobility team you will support expatriate clients with German tax compliance. You will receive comprehensive training on German tax technical matters before taking on assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse fiscal data and complete tax questionnaires.
• Prepare German tax returns for residents and non‑residents.
• Calculate fiscal equalisations and hypothetical taxes when required.
• Review tax assessments and inquiries issued by German tax authorities.
• Participate in weekly calls with seniors and managers and keep the senior in charge updated on progress.
• Attend technical trainings and stay current on tax regulations.

Required profile

• Advanced students or recent graduates in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
• C1‑level proficiency in German (written and spoken) and fluency in English.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Team‑player attitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to work with remote team members and use technology effectively.

Required skills

• DATEV Income Tax software (advantageous).
• Microsoft Office suite.
