Senior Associate, Accounting

About the role

As an Accounting Process Specialist at Kyndryl, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial records while supporting core accounting processes and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting systems including journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Prepare and post journal entries, balance accounts, and produce profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules.
• Review financial reporting requirements to ensure compliance and monitor monthly revenue and expenditure reports for projects or business units.
• Investigate and resolve accounting variances and collaborate with internal finance teams to support audits, controls, and financial reviews.

Required profile

• Experience in core accounting functions such as general ledger, journal entries, or financial close.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and ability to analyze financial data.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow defined accounting controls and procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
