Tax Accountant

About the role

JAS, an international supply chain services provider, is seeking a Tax Accountant to manage tax analysis and compliance for its branches and subsidiaries. The role involves preparing tax returns, supporting audits, and collaborating on cross‑functional tax projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate, profit, and individual tax returns and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Compile documentation to support filings and perform monthly tax calculations for compliance commitments.
• Assist with quarterly provision work papers, monthly reconciliations, and annual audit planning.
• Respond to tax office queries, audits, and investigations in coordination with the Assistant Manager.
• Participate in cross‑functional tax projects and support the Corporate Tax Manager with planning opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting with 2‑4 years of relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work under pressure both independently and in a team.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of the local language is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP and Cognos reporting systems (user level).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
