Financial Operations Associate – Clinical Trials

About the role

The Financial Operations Associate supports the start‑up, maintenance and close‑out phases of patient payment services for clinical trials. You will ensure accurate site and patient records, manage budgets, and act as a liaison between vendors, sites and IQVIA.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain site and patient information in the SaaS payment platform, including budgets and contract documents.
• Process payments, handle patient inquiries, and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.
• Maintain the master site list, post CTAs and amendments, and ensure compliance with SSAE18 policies.
• Prepare status updates for operational leads and report red‑line items during sponsor governance meetings.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and support peer‑review of study, site and budget set‑ups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Project Management, health‑related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in customer service, accounts payable, data entry or biotech/clinical research environments.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to meet aggressive deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Google Workspace, MS Project and SAP Business One.
• Ability to work with SaaS payment software and perform data validation.
