Senior Technical Project Manager

About the role

Rockcruit is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager with a strong track record of leading implementations involving multiple vendors. The role centres on aligning stakeholders, meeting commitments and keeping projects on track in fast-paced environments, while collaborating closely with clients. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Own project execution end to end: timelines, quality standards and customer expectations, and develop and maintain the schedule in Microsoft Project
• Manage the backlog with the client, turn needs into acceptance criteria and user stories, and collaborate with the Architect on the technical solution
• Lead Scrum ceremonies and internal meetings (Scrum Master role), define team responsibilities and remove blockers
• Document business knowledge and technical solutions in Confluence, capture change requests and report status, performance and risks to the client, delivery leadership and executives
• Approve time-off requests and weekly timesheets, coordinate with HR and office administration on leave, and oversee onboarding and offboarding
• Serve as the main day-to-day contact for the client's engineering team, give progress updates and demos, and support account expansion and upselling
• Act as technical liaison between pre-sales and engineering, and lead the team with monthly 1:1s, annual performance reviews and career development plans

Required profile

• 10+ years as a project manager, planning projects and delivering on time with customer satisfaction
• Experience with a hybrid Waterfall-Agile approach and leading Scrum events
• Strong technical acumen: cloud architectures, estimation and go-live activities; a development background is a big plus
• Fintech knowledge preferred, banking experience a strong advantage; experience managing revenue, margins and expenses desirable
• Advanced English (written and spoken) and confident presentation skills
• Flexible, autonomous, highly organised and able to handle extended work hours when needed
