Senior Software Engineer (Power Platform & Automation)

About the role

Chevron Global Business Services (GBS), based in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, Argentina, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Power Platform & Automation). The role designs, develops and supports low-code, automation, integration and data solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services and related Microsoft technologies, working closely with business stakeholders to modernize processes and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven)
• Automate workflows, business processes and integrations with Power Automate, Azure services and SharePoint
• Build and maintain Power Platform solutions (Power BI, Power Apps, Dataverse) and Dataverse data models, security roles and governance standards
• Develop solutions and integrations with C#/.NET when needed, and design REST API and custom connector integrations
• Optimize SQL/DAX queries and administer SharePoint Online sites and their integrations
• Implement Power Platform governance, environment strategy, security models and deployment best practices
• Take part in ALM, deployment automation, release management and CI/CD via Azure DevOps
• Use Power Automate Desktop, support data integration across SAP, SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse, and modernize legacy applications
• Provide technical support, documentation, knowledge transfer and user training

Required profile

• Experience integrating with SAP, SharePoint, SQL Server and Azure services
• Experience modernizing applications and replacing legacy solutions
• Preferred: Power Automate Desktop and RPA, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, PowerShell scripting, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), SharePoint migrations, IRM familiarity, testing practices, leadership and cross-functional project experience
