About the role
The Risk Management Country Senior Officer provides strategic risk oversight for Citi’s operations within the country. The role serves as the primary liaison for franchise‑level risk matters, partnering with CEOs and CCOs to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk mitigation.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact for franchise‑level risk issues and provide risk‑management partnership to Country Officers.
- Escalate and resolve risk matters promptly, coordinating with Credit Review, Internal Audit, and regulators.
- Produce credit and exposure analyses to maintain appropriate aggregate risk exposure.
- Identify cross‑sector risk utilities, share common concerns, and develop coordinated solutions.
Required profile
- 10+ years of experience in risk management, compliance or related fields.
- Advanced degree preferred (e.g., JD, MBA).
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Proven ability to guide decision‑making and implement technical solutions.
