Senior Backend Engineer (Backend Platform)

About the role

Fever is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and scale its platform that powers live entertainment experiences worldwide. You will join a fast‑paced engineering team, work on Python‑based services and contribute to high‑performance, event‑driven systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and own end‑to‑end backend features and APIs.
• Participate in architectural discussions, improve scalability, reliability and observability of services.
• Collaborate with Product, Data and other engineering squads to enhance the platform.
• Lead code reviews, mentor teammates and drive best practices.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, testing and code quality.
• Proficient in business English and experienced in delivering code from development to production.
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases and SQL.
