About the role

The Risk Management Country Senior Officer acts as the primary point of contact for franchise‑level risk matters in Argentina, partnering directly with Citi Country Officers and senior leadership. This strategic professional ensures risk oversight, regulatory compliance, and alignment with Citi’s global risk framework.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for country‑level risk issues, providing risk‑management partnership to CEOs/CCOs and representing Citigroup’s interests.
• Ensure timely escalation, resolution, and coordination of franchise‑level risk matters, including regulatory inquiries and cross‑sector risk concerns.
• Produce credit and exposure analyses to maintain appropriate aggregate risk exposure.
• Coordinate risk oversight across legal vehicles and subsidiaries, and collaborate with Credit Review, Internal Audit, and regulators during reviews.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in risk management, compliance or related fields.
• Advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA) preferred.
• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and guide decision‑making.
