Proposal Analyst

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a Proposal Analyst to support Business Development by managing the end‑to‑end proposal process for RFPs and rebids. The role involves coordinating with subject‑matter experts, preparing proposal content, budgets, and ensuring compliance with client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and analyze RFPs, assign appropriate SMEs, and notify them of requirements.
• Prepare and modify proposal text, budgets, and cover letters based on SME feedback.
• Ensure alignment of proposal content with RFP specifications, client expectations, and internal assumptions.
• Obtain third‑party quotes as needed and manage the proposal process through all stage gates.
• Update proposal status in sales management tools and coordinate project hand‑over meetings.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in a business or health‑related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience or exposure to proposal preparation in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and effective oral/written communication.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of the clinical development process and drug development lifecycle.
