About the role
The Sample Management Specialist II is responsible for the end‑to‑end handling of study samples, reference materials, and critical reagents, ensuring their integrity and proper documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, control, and disposition study samples and reference materials.
- Manage shipping, receiving, destruction, and transfer of samples as directed by clients.
- Provide samples to laboratory staff for analysis upon request.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order when needed.
- Support operation and maintenance of sample storage equipment and environmental monitoring systems.
- Archive documentation related to sample management.
Required profile
- High School diploma.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to use sample‑tracking software.
- English bilingualism sufficient to understand simple messages and follow basic instructions.
