Project Manager (SAP Projects)

About the role

Chevron's Global Business Services (GBS) organization in Buenos Aires is hiring a Project Manager for its IT Organization, part of a multifunction service center of more than 1,800 employees serving the corporation worldwide. The Project Manager plans, executes and closes projects in the SAP landscape within strict deadlines and budget, managing several projects, coordinating teams and communicating with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables.
• Allocate tasks and coordinate team members.
• Estimate costs and keep the project within budget.
• Identify issues and develop mitigation strategies.
• Keep stakeholders informed with regular updates and reports.
• Ensure deliverables meet required standards.
• Complete project documentation and evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an IT or business-related discipline.
• 5 to 10 years of project management experience; ERP implementation and support experience preferred.
• Current PMP certification or similar.
• Highly proficient English and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, able to prioritize and adapt to changing conditions, and able to work in a multicultural environment.
• Relocation may be considered; expatriate assignments and visa sponsorship are not considered.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or ADO.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Preferred: Master's degree, Agile certifications and a strong understanding of Agile frameworks.
