Project Management Analyst

About the role

EY's Project Management Analyst supports the planning, execution, governance and reporting of strategic programs and projects. The role maintains project controls, tracks performance metrics, supports stakeholder communications and coordinates project activities so that delivery follows established methodologies and governance standards. It works closely with Project Managers, Program Managers, Solution Leaders, business stakeholders and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, deliverables and documentation repositories
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, scorecards, meeting materials, executive communications and action items
• Track performance against scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues and changes, escalating concerns when needed
• Support project planning, coordination across business, technology and vendor teams, and project meetings and workshops
• Support portfolio, program and project governance and audit readiness
• Maintain risk, issue, assumption and dependency logs, and support change requests and impact assessments
• Track budgets, forecasts and actuals, assist with resource planning and vendor and procurement tracking
• Develop meeting materials and presentations, capture meeting notes and decisions, and promote process improvement and PMO standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Engineering, Finance or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience supporting project management, PMO, program management, consulting or business operations
• Experience with project portfolio management tools and reporting platforms
• Preferred: experience in technology, ERP, SAP, cloud or digital transformation programs, and consulting or professional services experience
• Preferred: travel may be required depending on project needs

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
• Project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or ServiceNow PPM
• Understanding of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches
• PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP or Scrum Master certification preferred
