People Ops - Regulatory Compliance Specialist

About the role

PwC's Acceleration Center Buenos Aires is looking for a People Ops - Regulatory Compliance Specialist. The role supports day-to-day operational tasks covering US employment eligibility, labor laws and national notice regulations, within a fast-paced environment where the specialist takes ownership of their work and delivers quality results.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate compliance with US employment eligibility, labor laws and national notice regulations
• Handle new joiner and employee inquiries and issues, resolving them or escalating as needed
• Maintain accurate employee records and data management using HR and specialized HR compliance software
• Implement process improvements to optimize operations and delivery
• Analyze data to inform regulatory compliance metrics and support strategic decisions
• Ensure correct information security and data protection practices, including confidentiality

Required profile

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent degree
• At least 2 years of experience
• Oral and written English proficiency
• Preferred background in law (immigration specific) or a related field
• Experience with regulatory compliance and audit support, including documentation reviews, record maintenance, audit preparation and process control

Required skills

• Proficiency in HR software and employee data management
• Knowledge of US I-9 and immigration compliance processes
• Experience with technology and process automation tools such as Alteryx, Equifax, LawLogix or similar
• Data analysis, stakeholder communication and attention to detail
