People Solutions Partner

About the role

Chevron is accepting online applications for a People Solutions Partner in Buenos Aires through October 29. The role acts as a virtual HR Business Partner, providing support and guidance to employees and supervisors on workplace issues so that they feel heard and valued. Relocation is not offered and only local candidates will be considered; expatriate assignments and visa sponsorship are not possible.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact and virtual HR Business Partner, guiding employees and supervisors on workplace issues
• Provide policy and benefit advice specific to site, country and payroll, referring to vendors when appropriate
• Navigate complex and ambiguous cases by researching precedents, policies and plan documentation
• Maintain accurate records of employee interactions and resolutions in line with company policies and legal requirements
• Develop solutions for unique business problems and document them for future use
• Build a deep understanding of the site's context, including regulations, culture and policies

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist or in a related role
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with outstanding remote customer service over phone and digital platforms
• Flexible and willing to do shifts
• Experience supporting multinational client groups preferred
