Mid-Level React Native Engineer

About the role

Blockchain.com is looking for a Mid‑Level React Native Engineer to help evolve its mobile architecture into a modular, multiplatform system. You will work on building reusable building blocks and delivering high‑quality React Native applications for both iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain React Native apps that use shared modules from existing mobile and backend systems.
• Contribute to a modular architecture that enables rapid assembly of new consumer apps from reusable components such as auth, wallet, trading, and on‑ramp/off‑ramp.
• Collaborate with mobile, backend, and product teams to define clean interfaces and ensure seamless integration.
• Use AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Codex) to accelerate implementation while maintaining quality, performance, and security.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, including prototyping, testing, releasing, and post‑launch improvements.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of software engineering experience with hands‑on React Native development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern mobile development practices.
• Experience building and shipping production mobile apps for iOS and/or Android.
• Ability to work with APIs and integrate complex backend‑driven features.
• Attention to detail and ability to review AI‑generated code for quality and security.
