Senior QA Tester – Playwright/TypeScript (Hybrid)

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a Senior QA Tester / Test Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automation solutions for web, API and backend applications. The role focuses on increasing automation coverage, improving release quality and reducing testing cycle times in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build automated test scripts for web, API, backend and functional scenarios using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or Provar.
• Develop scalable automation suites aligned to sprint and release cycles and contribute to reusable automation libraries.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and generate execution reports.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers and QA analysts to define test coverage and participate in sprint ceremonies.
• Maintain script versioning, execution logs and documentation to support traceability and risk‑based testing.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of hands‑on automation engineering experience.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, Java or Python.
• Experience with API automation tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with agile delivery models and CI/CD platforms.
• Excellent analytical, communication and mentoring abilities.
