Decision Support Analyst

About the role

The Decision Support Analyst will manage financial reporting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance commentary for an assigned asset, working with limited supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and year‑end close reporting processes and prepare management insights.
• Analyze actual results versus forecasts and business plans, providing decision‑focused commentary on drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Support forecast cycles, business‑plan preparation and financial outlook reviews through analysis, modeling and scenario evaluation.
• Validate data across source tools and reporting files, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Develop cross‑functional partnerships with operations, technical, finance and planning teams to resolve performance issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, reporting, forecasting or performance management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with clear communication skills.
• Experience managing reporting cycles and delivering variance explanations under limited supervision.
