Data Scientist

About the role

Sophilabs is looking for a Data Scientist to turn complex data sets into actionable insights that drive business growth. You will work remotely, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to develop and operationalize statistical and machine‑learning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement statistical or machine‑learning models tailored to business needs.
• Use Microsoft SQL Server for large‑scale data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify data‑driven opportunities and translate them into solutions.
• Mine and analyze data from internal databases to improve product development, marketing, and strategy.
• Coordinate with functional teams to deploy models and monitor their performance.
• Build tools and processes for model performance tracking and data quality assurance.
• Stay updated on the latest data‑science trends, tools, and techniques.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data science.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dissect complex data structures.
• Detail‑oriented, problem‑solving attitude and commitment to excellence.
• Fluent English (C1 level or higher).
