AI Consultant

About the role

Marais Advisory is seeking an AI Consultant to work remotely with enterprise clients. You will translate ambiguous business needs into concrete AI roadmaps, design prototypes, and guide implementation on cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and analyze client business processes to identify AI use cases.
• Develop and validate machine‑learning and natural‑language‑processing prototypes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy solutions on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Iterate solutions based on performance metrics and client feedback.
• Design analytical workflows and data pipelines for competitive‑intelligence projects.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong consulting and client‑facing skills, including requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
• Experience at a major consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Accenture, IBM, Deloitte).
• Applied data‑science expertise with a track record of designing experiments and extracting actionable insights.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Self‑directed, comfortable working remotely and managing multiple projects.
