Website Implementation Specialist (Independent Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a technically skilled, detail‑oriented Website Implementation Specialist to build, update, and optimise client websites. The role involves implementing content and technical updates while preserving design, functionality, and SEO best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Edit H1 tags, title tags, meta descriptions, and alt image tags to support SEO.
• Add, edit, or replace website content while maintaining existing CSS styling, design, and layout.
• Optimize images for performance, quality, and usability.
• Set up and integrate Google Analytics, create sitemap.xml and robots.txt files, and upload them to the server.
• Make website updates using Wix/Wix Studio and other CMS platforms.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience making website updates and implementing technical changes.
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals, including redirects, metadata, and image optimisation.
• Comfortable navigating website directories, using cPanel or FTP clients, and troubleshooting basic issues.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and meet deadlines consistently.

Required skills

• Wix / Wix Studio (or similar website builders)
• HTML and CSS (intermediate level)
• SEO best practices (metadata, redirects, image optimisation)
• Google Analytics integration
• Sitemap.xml and robots.txt creation
• cPanel or FTP client usage

What we offer

• Compensation of $7.00 USD per hour, paid monthly.
• Full‑time schedule (40 hours/week) within 8 am‑5 pm MST.
• Remote work with your own equipment.
