Oracle APEX Lead / Solution Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle APEX Lead / Solution Architect to provide technical leadership for the design, development, modernization, and support of enterprise applications built on the Oracle APEX platform. The role involves defining solution architecture, establishing engineering standards, and ensuring delivery of secure, scalable, and high‑quality business solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle APEX applications, defining standards, reusable components, and coding guidelines.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, create solution architectures, integration designs, deployment models, and technical roadmaps.
• Conduct design, code, performance, and security reviews; drive modernization initiatives, platform upgrades, and application enhancements.
• Develop and support APEX applications, design Oracle database solutions, and implement integrations using RESTful services, APIs, ORDS, and JSON.
• Support project planning, effort estimation, release readiness, deployment, and post‑production support; monitor application health and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with stakeholders, lead technical discussions, mentor developers, and ensure compliance with data integrity, security, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, enterprise applications, or solution architecture, with extensive Oracle APEX delivery.
• Proven leadership in solution architecture, technical delivery, and managing geographically distributed teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence architectural direction.
• Experience in regulated environments, preferably Life Sciences, with knowledge of GxP, CSV, and audit readiness.
