Unified Communications Engineer

About the role

The Communications and Collaboration Engineer will operate, support, and continuously improve enterprise communication and collaboration platforms for ExxonMobil Argentina. The role ensures reliable, secure, and scalable services that enable seamless interaction across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and support enterprise collaboration platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Manage voice services including call routing, auto attendants, IVR, and conferencing.
• Design and develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript to streamline operations.
• Build and maintain scripts, integrations, dashboards, and self‑service portals.
• Collaborate with networking, infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure platform performance.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, incident, problem, and change management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting collaboration, unified communications, or voice environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working in Agile or collaborative, global environments.

Required skills

• Enterprise collaboration platforms: Zoom, Microsoft Teams.
• Voice and telephony technologies: call flows, IVR, auto attendants.
• Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Python, JavaScript.
• REST APIs, system integrations, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Azure services for automation and application development.
• Networking fundamentals (QoS, DNS, VPN, MPLS, TCP/IP, firewalls).
