Test Consultant – Workday Payroll

About the role

Kainos is expanding its Smart Product Suite capability in Argentina and is hiring a Test Consultant (management level, Product Services). You will lead customer engagements, guide customers on Kainos Smart testing solutions and help organisations maximise the value of their Workday testing strategy, while mentoring colleagues and supporting the growth of the Product Services team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements for Workday implementations and maintenance, acting as a key point of contact and balancing customer, technical and commercial needs
• Understand customer Workday configurations and business processes, covering Payroll, HCM, Financials, Recruiting and Security
• Design and deliver test automation solutions, including defining scope and building and optimising Smart test packs
• Deliver workshops, demonstrations and training, and support the transition of customers to ongoing support teams
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on feature validation, testing and rollout, and share customer feedback
• Mentor Associates and less experienced Consultants, support onboarding and take part in recruitment and interviewing

Required profile

• Experience in software implementation, business analysis, QA, testing, consulting or customer-facing technology roles
• Experience working with enterprise customers and managing stakeholder relationships
• Experience leading workshops, demonstrations and training sessions
• Experience mentoring or coaching less experienced team members
• Experience in payroll, HR, finance or other enterprise business process environments, including payroll testing and operations
• Knowledge of payroll legislation and processes in at least one of the United Kingdom, United States or Canada

Required skills

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA practices and test automation concepts
• Experience with cloud-based enterprise applications such as Workday, ERP, HCM, Payroll, Financial Management, CRM or similar
• Desirable: Workday Payroll, HCM, Financials, Recruiting or Security; automated testing tools and frameworks; parallel payroll testing or transformation programmes; Agile delivery; SaaS and cloud product delivery models; large-scale implementation experience
• Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline
