Strategy & Operations Hub Manager

About the role

Novartis is looking for a Strategy & Operations Hub Manager (Band Level 5) based in Ramallo, Argentina, to drive strategic initiatives that turn strategy into action across the Americas hub. The role works closely with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to foster innovation, use data-driven insights and improve clinical study execution and portfolio delivery. Relocation support is not offered.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives supporting business continuity and operational excellence across the Americas hub.
• Drive transformation, change management and organizational evolution initiatives together with country teams.
• Implement standardized processes, systems and best practices to improve consistency and performance.
• Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and identify solutions that improve clinical study execution.
• Gather, analyze and communicate country insights to inform global and hub-level decisions.
• Generate data-driven business insights and productivity analyses to support portfolio delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Statistics, Finance, Operations or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical development, preferably in clinical research.
• Strong knowledge of drug development processes and global regulatory and compliance standards.
• Proven ability to lead change initiatives in complex matrix organizations.
• Experience using data-driven approaches to improve operational performance and efficiency.

Required skills

• Project management (e.g. PMI methodology, project planning, resource allocation, risk management).
• Drug development, clinical research and program management.
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
