Storekeeper for Dredging Project

About the role

Jan De Nul is looking for a Storekeeper to support its dredging projects in Argentina. Based in Buenos Aires, you will ensure that workshops, vessels and yards have the right parts, tools and materials available at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and document deliveries, returning defective items to suppliers.
• Store, pick, pack and label spare parts, tools and materials.
• Load and unload vessels and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Issue materials to all departments with proper documentation and track returns.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory in digital systems and perform regular stock checks.
• Report shortages or damage, prepare supply requests and work orders.
• Manage workshop administration, records and waste streams.
• Keep stores, yard and containers clean and orderly.

Required profile

• Well‑organised, accurate and hands‑on with a strong safety commitment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
• Physical fitness for lifting heavy items and continuous standing.
• Resident of Buenos Aires area and legally entitled to work in Argentina.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
