Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Join Avature's high‑performance SaaS platform team as a Senior Software Engineer, working in small, autonomous development squads across several Argentine cities. You will deepen expertise in a complex, multi‑application platform while contributing to both new features and refactoring efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to interpret functional specifications and provide feedback.
• Design, develop, and test code for new features and enhancements.
• Perform technical analysis of existing code, refactor to improve quality, and ensure maintainability.
• Review peer code across teams and promote best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in quarterly roadmap planning and contribute to platform scalability, security, and UI design.

Required profile

• Several years of professional software development experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficiency in object‑oriented programming, SOLID principles, DDD, and unit testing.
• Intermediate to upper‑intermediate English communication skills.
• Comfortable using AI tools and staying current with emerging AI capabilities.
