Senior Site Reliability Engineer – AI‑Native Operations

About the role

You will be the first responder on a high‑stakes AI‑native community platform used by Fortune 100 brands. The role blends traditional SRE duties with building and maintaining AI agents that automate triage, change validation, RCA drafting and auto‑healing.

Key responsibilities

• Own the on‑call shift: take pages, triage and resolve customer‑impacting incidents, escalating only when the blast radius requires.
• Execute production changes safely, running deploys, cost‑optimization runbooks and config changes through quality gates with rollbacks ready.
• Design, operate and evolve AI agents that perform pre‑triage, change validation, permanent‑fix chase, RCA drafting and auto‑healing, writing the runbooks they execute.
• Generalize one‑off fixes into reusable agents, runbooks or guardrails so future incidents are handled automatically.

Required profile

• 5+ years of senior SRE experience on large‑scale SaaS, with real on‑call incident response.
• Extreme ownership and self‑direction; you run your shift like a founder and continuously challenge standards.
• Deep production experience with outages, root‑cause analysis and hands‑on troubleshooting in multi‑AZ, multi‑account AWS environments.
• Passion for AI‑native operations – you build and iterate on agents that multiply team leverage.

Required skills

• Advanced AWS expertise (multi‑AZ, multi‑account, production change management).
• Experience with AI/agentic tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Warp or custom agents.
• Proficiency with modern observability and incident‑response stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, OpsGenie, PagerDuty, Datadog).
• AWS Solutions Architect certification (or equivalent production track record).
