Senior QA Tester – Playwright / TypeScript (Hybrid)

About the role

Syneos Health is looking for a Senior QA Tester / Test Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated test solutions for web, API and backend applications. The role will support agile delivery teams, increase automation coverage and help improve release quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build automated test scripts for web, API and functional scenarios using Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Develop scalable automation suites aligned with sprint and release cycles and contribute reusable libraries and utilities.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and generate execution reports.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers and QA analysts to define test coverage and participate in sprint ceremonies.
• Maintain versioning, execution logs and documentation to support traceability and risk‑based testing.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of hands‑on automation engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive, self‑driven attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Experience working in regulated or validated environments (e.g., GxP) is a plus.
