Senior Procurement Analyst

About the role

The Senior Procurement Analyst is a GCC‑based position that leads end‑to‑end strategic sourcing initiatives for Assurant, a company managing roughly USD 2 billion of annual third‑party spend. Operating at a level equivalent to a Sourcing Manager, the role drives value creation, governance, and consistency across the sourcing lifecycle while targeting a USD 35 million annual cost‑savings impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing projects from intake through award and contract execution for assigned spend categories.
• Develop and implement category‑level sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and financial targets.
• Conduct supplier negotiations to secure optimal commercial, contractual, and risk outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and regional stakeholders to ensure sourcing decisions meet business needs.
• Support category planning, savings tracking, and performance reporting.
• Mentor junior sourcing and tactical analysts within the GCC.
• Serve as escalation point for complex or high‑impact sourcing initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.
• Proven track record leading complex, multi‑stakeholder sourcing projects.
• Strong negotiation, commercial, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Experience working in global, matrixed organizations.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Oracle procurement system (desirable).
• Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
