Senior PHP/Laravel Developer with Infrastructure & DevOps Experience

About the role

We are looking for a senior PHP/Laravel developer based in Argentina who combines strong software engineering expertise with hands‑on infrastructure and DevOps capabilities. The role is fully remote and involves building, maintaining and modernising business‑critical, data‑driven applications while ensuring system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain applications using PHP, Laravel, Filament and PostgreSQL.
• Modernise legacy systems, reduce technical debt and improve performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Design and maintain application architecture, APIs and integrations with internal systems.
• Maintain automated testing, static analysis and code‑review practices using tools such as Pest, PHPStan and Laravel Pint.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git and Gitea.
• Lead incident response, troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective measures.
• Administer a high‑availability Proxmox cluster and related technologies (Ceph/CephFS, ZFS, Linux, containers).
• Maintain essential services including PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Gitea, web servers, Icinga, Grafana and Loki.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of professional experience in software development and related ICT domains.
• Proven senior‑level experience with PHP and Laravel (preferably PHP 8.4, Laravel 12, Filament 5).
• Strong understanding of application architecture, API design and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Hands‑on systems administration experience covering Linux, virtualization, containers, storage and monitoring.
• Professional proficiency in English.
