Senior Functional Analyst – Reporting Applications

About the role

We are looking for a motivated senior analyst to support and maintain multiple reporting and analytics applications, including SAP BI, Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, SAS Business Rules, Workiva and ARM. The role focuses on user support, access management and continuous improvement of reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage user access and resolve issues across reporting applications (WebI, Power BI, Cubes, Business Rules, etc.) through ServiceNow.
• Investigate root causes of reported issues, provide clear resolutions and ensure accurate follow‑up.
• Analyze financial and accounting data, interpret hierarchical structures and apply logical reasoning to report logic and performance optimisation.
• Build and automate reports using Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables), Power Query and Power BI, connecting to various data sources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial data structures.
• Strong logical reasoning and practical experience with SQL.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Power Query and Power BI.
