Senior Financial Analyst – Procurement

About the role

Ecolab is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Procurement Finance LASC team. The role focuses on preparing reports, budgets, and forecasts related to procurement costs and variances, supporting both Procurement and Supply Chain Finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly reporting, forecasting, and analysis of procurement spend, including purchase price variance (PPV) and year‑over‑year cost changes for the LASC market.
• Analyze trends driven by external factors (commodity, FX) and internal factors (volume, mix) and investigate significant variances.
• Assist in material cost and PPV budgeting, and product standard cost budget analysis.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Finance teams to identify and track savings opportunities such as net structural savings and gross margin initiatives.
• Maintain accurate material cost and volume data in a regional database and provide ad‑hoc reporting as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate or advanced student in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (required).
• 4–6 years of experience in accounting, finance, or costing.
• Strong ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Power BI.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
