Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Tax Analyst to join our Latin American Statutory and Tax accounting team, supporting Argentina and Uruguay tax activities from our Buenos Aires office. The role focuses on both indirect and direct tax compliance, corporate income tax reporting, and interaction with tax authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage indirect tax compliance, including data validation, VAT return filings, payments and related accounting work.
• Coordinate with external advisors for direct tax compliance, handling corporate income tax filings and related accounting.
• Assist with income tax accounting for US GAAP and statutory accounts for local legal entities.
• Support the preparation and review of annual income tax returns in collaboration with external audit firms.
• Participate in the statutory financial statement process, handling auditor requests and filings with local authorities.
• Work with the country’s ERP systems and drive technology, automation and standardisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Analyst‑level professional with 4+ years of tax experience.
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn new tools, technologies and processes in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Experience with indirect tax (VAT) compliance and reporting.
• Experience with direct tax compliance and corporate income tax filings.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and statutory accounting principles.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for tax and accounting processes.
