Senior Cloud Software Engineer (.NET)

About the role

Caylent is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Engineer with deep .NET expertise to modernize and build cloud‑native applications for its global clients. The role involves collaborating with software teams, architects, sales and project managers to deliver AWS‑based solutions and AI‑first software.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to deliver production‑ready client solutions, focusing initially on .NET modernization.
• Work with the Lead Architect to review requirements, contribute to technical decisions and implement solutions.
• Participate in discovery sessions to gather customer requirements and follow architecture decisions.
• Create, automate and refine AI‑driven testing across multiple levels.
• Expand expertise across additional languages, frameworks, AWS services and AI technologies as projects evolve.

Required profile

• Deliver exceptional client experiences and communicate project status clearly.
• Demonstrate strong collaboration and proactive alignment with internal teams and clients.
• Communicate technical information clearly and listen actively to prevent miscommunication.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in the .NET ecosystem, senior‑level C#.
• Experience with Windows Services, Docker/ECS containerization.
• SQL Server proficiency.
• Hands‑on .NET Framework (v4.6/v4.8) and modern .NET (Core/.NET 8‑10).
• ASP.NET WebForms to Blazor migration, NuGet incompatibility remediation.
• IIS to Linux porting, MSMQ to RabbitMQ migration.
• Familiarity with AWS services (ECS, EC2, RDS, Amazon MQ, S3, CloudWatch).
• Interest in AI technologies, and exposure to Python, Node.js, React, TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, automated testing.
