About the role

PwC is hiring a Risk & Regulatory - IT Audit Senior Associate at its Acceleration Center Buenos Aires. The role focuses on assessing the design and effectiveness of an organization's IT systems and controls to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risks. It sits within the Risk & Regulatory practice, which works with clients to strengthen the credibility of financial statements, internal controls and other auditable information, and involves evaluating compliance with regulations, including governance and risk management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct IT audits to evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT systems and controls
• Analyze compliance with regulations and assess governance and risk management processes
• Use auditing methodologies to identify and mitigate IT risks
• Collaborate with clients to understand their IT audit needs and build meaningful relationships
• Interpret data and provide insights and recommendations
• Help develop and maintain internal controls and implement compliance programs
• Leverage IT governance frameworks to improve organizational processes
• Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and reliability
• Commit to continuous learning, information security and data protection, and correct information security management practices

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English
• Ability to anticipate the needs of teams and clients, handle ambiguity and build client relationships
