Personal Care Assistant (Caregiver)

About the role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants. In this hands‑on role you will support residents with daily living activities, promote dignity and independence, and help create a warm, engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans, document any changes, and communicate updates to care leaders.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
• Engage residents in conversation, daily activities, and memory‑care enrichment programs.
• Support dining services and assist with meal setup and clean‑up.
• Communicate effectively with families and the care team.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18 or older.
• Ability to obtain or current certification in CPR/First Aid.
• Compassionate, reliable, and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
