Payroll Expert – Argentina

About the role

Deel is seeking a Payroll Expert to serve as the regional subject‑matter expert for Argentina, owning end‑to‑end payroll execution and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and select payroll software that meets Deel’s technology requirements.
• Execute accurate and timely payroll for Argentina and other trained countries.
• Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports, handling tax authority compliance.
• Manage critical local payroll and HR processes, including deductions, onboarding, and off‑boarding.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates across teams.
• Provide cross‑functional expertise on local payroll and HR matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll and HR experience in Argentina.
• Strong knowledge of Argentine payroll regulations and policies.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines accurately.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong English language proficiency.
