Operations Specialist

About the role

JAS, an international supply chain services provider, is looking for an Operations Specialist to improve operational accuracy, efficiency and cost management through daily reporting, analysis and reconciliation of documents.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate operation and transportation documents such as bookings, bills of lading, pre‑advices and loading confirmations.
• Manage import and export bookings, coordinate with Customer Services and origin stations, and maintain routing guides.
• Monitor hub billing, job costing and cost‑of‑sales performance, and conduct rate analysis.
• Create operational reports, track allocations, and support capacity planning for origin offices and customers.

Required profile

• Strong communication and influencing skills, able to shape conversations and gain stakeholder buy‑in.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make informed judgments and generate timely, pragmatic solutions.
• Willingness to involve stakeholders in decision‑making and implement agreed solutions.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of standard freight forwarding and logistics practices.
