Middle Automation QA Engineer

About the role

Avenga is looking for a Middle Automation QA Engineer to join its quality engineering team supporting banking solutions. You will design, maintain and execute both automated and manual test scenarios to ensure the reliability of business‑critical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites for web applications and banking platforms using Python, pytest and Playwright.
• Execute functional, manual and regression testing, analyse defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Improve and extend automation frameworks with Page Object Model and fixture‑based approaches.
• Validate new features, system enhancements and production fixes, and contribute to QA process improvements.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Python for test automation development.
• Experience in banking or financial services environments is a plus.
