Manual QA Engineer (Web)

About the role

We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer specialized in web applications to ensure the quality of our client‑facing eCommerce platforms built with React. You will work closely with frontend, backend/BFF, product and automation teams to validate functionality, usability, and integration across browsers, devices and environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, integration and end‑to‑end testing of React‑based web applications.
• Review business and functional requirements to define testing scope and design test cases.
• Validate UI behavior, form validation, redirects, session handling, cookies, storage and responsive breakpoints.
• Inspect network calls, console errors and payloads using browser developer tools.
• Support API and BFF validation using Postman and similar tools.
• Document and track defects with detailed reproduction steps, screenshots, videos and logs.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, DevOps and QA stakeholders during test planning, defect triage and release certification.
• Prepare and manage test data and provide clear QA status updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in manual web QA engineering.
• Strong understanding of web testing principles, methodologies and best practices.
• Hands‑on experience testing modern React applications.
• Good knowledge of browser compatibility, responsive design, session handling and client‑side caching.
