Senior Quality Engineer – Payments Platform

About the role

We are expanding our core payment‑processing platform in the Payments industry and need an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our agile software development team. You will own manual test cases across GUI, API and backend layers, helping the fast‑growing business reach the next stage of growth.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and create comprehensive test cases, plans and suites.
• Execute testing across GUI, API and database layers and assess product readiness for production.
• Identify, document and troubleshoot defects using logs, Splunk, databases and other diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with developers, SDETs and architects to prioritize testing and resolve issues efficiently.
• Support quality metrics, continuously improve testing practices and coverage, and work across AWS cloud environments.

Required profile

• Strong QA fundamentals including requirements analysis, test planning, traceability and risk‑based testing.
• Hands‑on experience with manual testing beyond the GUI, covering API and database testing.
• Experience troubleshooting applications using Splunk or similar logging/monitoring tools.
• Proficiency with AWS or other cloud environments and GitHub (or similar source‑control tools).
• Ability to work effectively in Agile teams and adapt quickly to changing products.
