Lead Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to design and build high‑performing, user‑friendly interfaces and integration libraries that deliver GenAI and intelligent automation capabilities across multiple business domains.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop complete GenAI‑powered applications with a focus on intuitive web‑based UIs and high‑performance client‑side API integrations.
• Craft responsive, accessible frontend interfaces optimized for streaming responses and minimal latency.
• Maintain a reusable library of frontend components, hooks, and design systems for enterprise‑grade GenAI applications.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on AI UX patterns such as chat assistants, prompt builders, and feedback loops.
• Ensure security, accessibility, observability, and thorough test coverage across client‑side and full‑stack builds.

Required profile

• 5+ years building production applications with React, TypeScript, or Vue for enterprise use cases.
• 5–8 years of full‑stack engineering experience covering frontend UIs, REST APIs, and microservices.
• 2+ years integrating GenAI features, LLM APIs, and prompt UI patterns into web applications.
• Strong Python backend skills and experience with AWS, Docker, and RESTful microservices.
• Proven ability to create and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems.
