Junior WordPress Developer (Remote)

About the role

Green Marketing, a digital marketing agency focused on landscaping businesses, is seeking a motivated Junior WordPress Developer to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize client websites. This fully remote position offers the chance to work on multiple projects while collaborating with designers, project managers, and senior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Build responsive WordPress sites using page builders such as Divi, WPBakery, Elementor, and Gutenberg.
• Maintain and update existing client websites, handling plugin, theme, CSS, JavaScript, SSL, DNS, hosting, email, redirect, and performance issues.
• Perform website migrations, configure domains, DNS records, SSL certificates, and hosting environments.
• Optimize sites for speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Implement technical SEO updates including redirects, schema markup, XML sitemaps, and robots.txt.
• Set up and manage analytics and tracking tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, GoHighLevel, CRM, SMTP, form integrations).
• Test websites across major browsers and devices before launch and provide clear task updates.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of WordPress development or website maintenance experience.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and capacity to manage multiple client tasks.
• Good communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work remotely in a professional environment.
