Senior Cloud Engineer – AWS & Serverless

About the role

Caylent, an AI‑first cloud services firm, is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join its Managed Service Provider team. You will work with architects and delivery managers to design and deliver advanced AWS solutions for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable, secure, cost‑efficient AWS architectures, including serverless and IoT back‑ends.
• Develop observability solutions using CloudWatch, X‑Ray, Config and third‑party tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, contribute to Agile delivery, and mentor junior engineers.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and automation to support 24x7 operations.
• Engage with clients through presentations, technical decisions, and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Amazon Web Services.
• 1+ year of code‑defined infrastructure and CI/CD experience.
• Strong programming background (Python, Node.js, TypeScript, Go, Java, C).
• Experience working in Agile or similar project‑management environments.
