Junior Digital Strategist

About the role

Digital Silk is looking for a proactive Junior Digital Strategist to support the digital strategy team. You will assist with research, content planning, and website strategy while working remotely with US‑based clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support website projects from planning through launch, including research, competitor analysis, keyword research, sitemaps, content planning and basic user journeys.
• Create and update wireframes in Figma under senior guidance, and draft headlines, calls‑to‑action and short web copy based on client goals, brand direction and SEO research.
• Upload and format pages, blog posts and media in WordPress, applying on‑page SEO best practices (metadata, headings, internal links, image optimization).
• Review designs and developed pages against approved wireframes, check content and basic SEO implementation, test links and forms, and flag issues before launch.
• Use AI and research tools to support content drafting and day‑to‑day tasks, verifying outputs for accuracy and keeping tasks moving across teams.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a digital agency, web or marketing role (internships and freelance count).
• Contributed to at least one website project from planning to launch.
• Strong written English with the ability to draft clear headlines and short web copy.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Available to work 8 am–5 pm EST with breaks.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of WordPress and basic on‑page SEO (metadata, headings, internal links, image optimisation).
• Comfortable with Figma and keyword‑research tools, or able to learn quickly.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools for research and drafting, with good judgement for checking output.
