Junior Accounting, Compliance & Reporting (ACR)

About the role

EY GDS offers a junior Accounting, Compliance & Reporting position in Buenos Aires, supporting a US client. It sits within Finance Operations (inside the Tax Service Line) and covers end-to-end finance processes, from transaction processing and accounting to monthly reporting, statutory compliance and tax activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, reporting to Seniors and Managers.
• Carry out manual journal entries, monthly flash reports, financial result summaries, CFO deep dive inputs and close management.
• Build and maintain strong client stakeholder relationships during transition and after go-live.
• Deliver high-quality, timely services with effective client communication and teamwork.
• Collaborate with teams in GDS India and the ACR US onshore team.
• Comply with operational metrics (KPIs, SLAs) and other client-defined requirements.

Required profile

• 1-2+ years of experience in controllership or accounting within a shared services environment.
• Controllership and finance experience.
• Experience working in shared services (captive or outsourced models).
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence and integrity to communicate clearly and concisely.
