Indirect Tax Junior

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a network of service delivery centres supporting EY's client service and enablement teams. This Indirect Tax Junior role sits within the Indirect Tax team, which supports EY's Global Indirect Tax practice and its clients in managing VAT, GST and other indirect taxes and compliance, including accounts reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage VAT engagements, including preparing VAT, indirect tax returns and/or accounts reconciliation, with detailed planning and implementation
• Manage and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the team through regular training
• Help keep quality, turnaround times and SLA requirements met
• Maintain and develop quality and productivity metric tools
• Work with user groups in review and feedback sessions focused on continuous improvement
• Follow up on tasks so that work delivered meets quality standards and SLAs
• Identify risks and escalate them appropriately
